Here at GCC Madera our goal is to provide a safe environment for the spiritual development
as well as physical and emotional well-being of all children and youth participating in our church activities.

We want to support you as you bring your children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Here are some resources we hope you will find helpful.

Sunday Mornings
Our Sunday Morning Children’s Ministry classes use the curriculum by Answers in Genesis.
Nursery care (RM 11) is available during both 9:00 Bible Study hour and 11:00am Worship Service.
A Cry Room (RM 1) with a live stream of the service is available during the Worship Service as well as a Family Room (RM 7) with livestream and coloring supplies.
9:00 AM Classes
During our 9 AM hour we offer classes for Preschool to 6th grade as well as youth (7th-12th grades).
Our Bible Stories class (RM 10) is for younger children who have are just learning about the Bible. This class is best for children in Pre-K to Kindergarten.
Our Bible Lesson class (RM 205) takes children through the entire Bible over a 4-year period.. This class is best for children in 1st-6th grade.
11:00 AM Classes
During our worship service we offer classes for Preschool to 6th grade.

Our Bible Lesson class (RM 105) takes children through the entire Bible over a 4-year period. This class is best for children in 1st-3rd grade.
Our Bible Study class (RM 205) at 11:00am will dive deep into biblical truth about the creation and what that means for us today. This class is best for children in 4th-6th grade.
Our Special Needs Ministry (RM 106) is for young children who need a structured class time and a less busy and noisy environment. This is currently available as needed. For more information, please call the church office, 559-674-1172.
Wednesday Evenings
5:30 PM Dinner
No time to cook? No worries. Join us for a free dinner (donations accepted). This is a time to eat together, fellowship, and make new friends. It allows everyone to eat dinner before the Wednesday evening Bible studies.
6:30 PM Bible Studies
We offer a variety of Bible Studies for everyone in the family.
For our adults we offer co-ed classes as well as classes for men and women specifically. Our Youth have their own time of worship, expounding of Scripture, and gender-based small groups. Children from preschool through 6th grade, attend our AWANA program where they memorize Scripture, play games, and partake in both small and large group learning.
Nursery Care is available for parents who attend a class.
Vacation Bible School
VBS takes place in the summer and is a whole week of fun as kids learn about truths from the Bible.
VBS: Spy University (Spy U)
June 21-25, 2027
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to train special agents to detect false intel and to know, love, and live for the one and only God. When cadets arrive at Spy University, they’ll uncover counterfeit views of God and recognize the one true God of the Bible, find that God is a trinity, collect clues to reveal how to become a child of God, crack codes to discover attributes of God, and discover that God created them and wants to be their first love.
Grab your gear and head to the Spy U campus for a week of adventure as you lead your cadets to the one true God!
