Jake grew up in the Central Valley and serves as GCC's Associate Pastor. He holds a Business degree from Colorado Christian University and a Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He enjoys serving the church and sharing the Gospel.

Jason and his wife, Kathy, serve with ABWE in Togo, West Africa. His ministry includes regional leadership, aviation, and serving local churches.
Africa Hope Ministries (opens in a new tab)
Gil Harder is a missionary pastor and evangelist with Africa Hope Ministries. Together with his wife, Carol, he helps plant churches and schools and train pastors in Africa.

Matt McCartney serves as Interim Director for Missions and Outreach at Trinity Community Church in Clovis. Trinity's missions ministry partners with local and international ministries to make disciples and strengthen churches.

Missions Month

Join us for the Missions Banquet on Sunday, October 25, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Grace Community Church. Enjoy dinner and fellowship with our church family and hear a message from Pastor Andrei Sava, Lead Pastor of Trinity Community Church in Clovis, as we celebrate Missions Month together. Tickets are $15 per person or $40 per family.

Andrei Sava serves as Lead Pastor of Trinity Community Church in Clovis, where he joined the staff in 2012. He studied theology at the University of Bucharest in Romania and earned Master of Divinity and Master of Theology degrees at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Sent to Serve
Missions at GCC Madera flows from a simple conviction. Jesus told His followers to go and make disciples of all nations, and that work belongs to every believer, not just the few who travel far away.
Locally we serve our community in Madera through partnerships, outreach, and care for families. Globally we send teams and support missionaries who are taking the gospel to places where it has not been heard.
Each summer a short-term team travels to Baja, Mexico with Amor Ministries to build a house for a family in need. No construction experience is needed. A valid passport is required, so start that process early.
We come alongside ministries in Madera that care for the hurting, the hungry, and the overlooked in our own backyard.
We pray for and financially support missionaries serving in the United States and overseas, both in word and deed.

Short-Term Trips
A summer week with Amor Ministries, building a house alongside the family who will live in it. No construction experience is needed and the team does the work together. A valid passport is required, so start that paperwork well ahead. The 2026 trip ran $500 per person, and fundraising help is available for anyone who needs it.
Dates, cost, and the sign-up deadline for each trip are announced from the platform and in the bulletin. Talk to Pastor Jake Beckman or call the church office and we will tell you what is coming next and what going would involve.
