GCC Kids
Fun, safe, and Gospel-centered for children birth through 6th grade, every Sunday at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
About GCC Kids
Where Kids Encounter Jesus
GCC Kids serves children from birth through 6th grade during both Sunday morning hours, 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Our curriculum is grounded in Scripture using Answers in Genesis materials, helping kids understand the Bible from the very beginning.
We provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn about God's Word, make friends, and grow in faith, so parents can engage fully in worship.
Bible-Based Curriculum
Sunday classes use Answers in Genesis curriculum, teaching children to trust God's Word from creation to Christ.
Safe & Secure
All volunteers are background-checked and trained in our Child Protection Policy and California AB506 Mandatory Reporter requirements.
All Ages Served
Nursery and preschool classes are available at both hours. Grades 1-6 meet together for Bible study, then split into grades 1-3 and 4-6 during worship.
Special Needs Ministry
A Special Needs Ministry class is available as needed during the 11:00 AM service in Room 106.

Wednesday Evenings
Awana
Looking for a midweek program? Awana meets Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 PM, during the school year for children ages 3 through 6th grade. Scripture memorization, games, and Gospel-centered teaching. Free dinner is served 5:30-6:15 PM.

Volunteer with GCC Kids
GCC Kids volunteers go through a straightforward screening process to ensure the safety of every child:

Submit a Volunteer Application, adult or youth form, to the office or email lavonne@gccmadera.com.

Fingerprinting / Livescan
Complete a fingerprinting and LiveScan background check at the UPS Store or Sheriff's Office. The church reimburses you.

Child Protection Policy
Read and acknowledge the Child Protection Policy.

Mandatory Reporter Training
Complete Mandatory Reporter Training, California AB506. Required by state law and renewed every two years.
